Andrés Mayo graduated in Electronics Engineering, specializing in Audio in 1991, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

• Unique Recording, New York
He began working in the recently disappeared Manhattan facility, as a recording assistant for engineers such as Joe Blaney in many hip hop, rap, soul and R&B sessions.

In 1992, he became Argentina’s first Mastering Engineering, working on the Sound Designer platform, predecessor to Pro Tools.

During the year 1994, Andrés perfectioned his skills in this important post-production studio in Britain, working in the sound for films such as "007, Tomorrow Never Dies".

At the end of 1994, he was asked to join one of the main studios in Germany as Mastering Engineer.

In 1995, Andrés opened Mr. Master Mastering Studios, the first professional Mastering facility, along with Engineer Eduardo Bergallo. Mr. Master became the main reference for musicians and engineers in Argentina and Latin America.

2006 sees the opening of his brand new studio, the only one capable of achieving high-resolution multi-channel mastering, and with equipment suitable for the entire production of a musical DVD. The very same tools formerly available at Mr.Master are now to be found in his new studio, plus some newly incorporated top-notch tools.
