1) Artistas que masterizaron en nuestro estudio recientemente: Airbag (Arg), Laura Campisi (Italia, producido por Emliio Miler y mezclado por Ariel Lavigna), Satélite Rojo (Arg, producido por Tweety González), Laura Ros (Arg), Helmut Róbot (Arg), Iván Fajardo (Perú), Los Frates (Arg), Radio Tribuna (Arg, producido por Gastón Oliver), CACTUS (Arg), Jerónimo Guiraud (Arg), Emiliano Sacripanti (Arg), José Marquez (Ecuador), Fisepa (Arg), Gaby Comte (Arg), Rodrigo Martinez (Arg), Gaby Franco (Ecuador), Patricio Belim (México, producido por Suno Records), Viajantes (edición en vinilo), Ariel Migliorelli (Arg), Manuel García (Chile, producido por Guido Nisenson), Cliptómacos (Arg). También sigue adelante la coproducción del disco de Rubén Goldin, junto con Willy Suchar de Kamikaze Records (Asunción) y Néstor Díaz de La Montaña Estudio Huella (Buenos Aires), integrando a músicos originarios de Brasil, Argentina y Paraguay. El proyecto estará concluido en Diciembre 2016.

We´re also moving forward on coproducing Rubén Goldin´s record, along with Willy Suchar from Kamikaze Records (Asunción) and Néstor Díaz from La Montaña Estudio Huella (Buenos Aires), including musicians from Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. 2) Audio para Realidad Virtual: Se encuentran en proceso dos proyectos de mezcla en audio de 360°: Feromona, de Alfonso Barbieri (grabado en formato binaural en el Teatro Margarita Xirgu) y Quebrado, de Pedro Aznar, grabado en el Teatro Gran Rex y editado en video 360 por VRTIFY. 2) Audio for Virtual Reality: Two 360° audio mix projects are in the making: Feromona, by Alfonso Barbieri (recorded at the Teatro Margarita Xirgu in binaural format) and Quebrado, by Pedro Aznar, recorded at the Teatro Gran Rex and released in 360° video by VRTIFY. 3) Acuerdo con Laser Disc Argentina para mastering de vinilos: Durante el pasado mes, nuestro estudio firmó un acuerdo de exclusividad con el Grupo Laser Disc Argentina para masterizar los discos que sean editados en vinilo. Esto sucederá a partir de la apertura de la planta replicadora el próximo mes, única en la Argentina y una de las 3 que ofrecen ese servicio en la región latinoamericana.

3) Exclusive agreement with Laser Disc Argentina regarding vinyl mastering: In August, our studio signed an exclusivity agreement with Laser Disc Argentina that includes the mastering of all records released on vinyl. This will be effective after the pressing plant opening next month. Laser Disc will be the only company in Argentina and one of the only 3 to provide this service in Latin America.

4) Actividades junto a AES: En Septiembre entramos en la etapa final de producción de la conferencia de AES sobre Audio para Realidad Virtual y Aumentada, que se llevará a cabo los días 30 de Septiembre y 1 de Octubre en el Centro de Convenciones de Los Angeles (LACC). El equipo de trabajo, dirigido por Andrés Mayo y Linda Gedemer, lleva 10 meses de intenso trabajo con dos teleconferencias semanales para completar una grilla de más de 50 presentaciones (incluyendo seminarios, trabajos de investigación, paneles y demostraciones prácticas de Audio para VR y AR). Los Keynote Speakers serán Philip Lelyveld (USC, Entertainment Technology Center) y George Sanger (Magic Leap), y contará con el apoyo de las principales compañías de la industria: Oculus, Dolby, Nokia, Sennheiser, GAudio, SourceSound, Dysonics y Audiokinetic.

4) Activities with AES: In September, we will be entering the final stage of the AES conference on Audio for Virtual and Augmented Reality (AVAR), to be held in September 30th and October 1st at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC). The team, led by Andrés Mayo and Linda Gedemer, has had 10 months of intensive work with up to two teleconferences per week to fill a grid of over 50 presentations (including seminars, papers, workshops and demos of VR and AR audio). Keynote speakers will be Philip Lelyveld (USC, Entertainment Technology Center) and George Sanger (Magic Leap). The event will be sponsored by the main companies in the VR industry: Oculus, Dolby, Nokia, Sennheiser, GAudio, SourceSound, Dysonics and Audiokinetic.

5) CHARCO - Canciones del Río de la Plata: Ya estamos casi en el final del rodaje de nuestro documental musical producido en forma independiente! En las últimas semanas tuvimos el privilegio de llevar a cabo la grabación de una escena muy especial con el reconocidísimo músico, compositor y productor argentino Gustavo Santaolalla. CHARCO es un largometraje que tiene fecha prevista de estreno en cines en el mes de Abril de 2017.

5) CHARCO - Songs from the Río de la Plata: We are about to finish the shooting process of our independently produced music documentary!. In the last few weeks we had the privilege of recording a very special scene featuring the well-known Argentinean musician, composer and producer Gustavo Santaolalla. CHARCO is a feature film, expected to be premiered in April 2017.

Si no aparece, por favor envíanos el nombre del disco, nombre del artista y si es posible una imagen de la tapa del disco en buena calidad para que podamos agregarlo. 6) Gallery of albums mastered at our facilities: If you mastered your record with us, it should appear in our Album Gallery. Look for it in alphabetical order here. If it is not there, please email us the name of the record, the artist and, if possible, an image with the record´s artwork so we can upload it. We will be receiving this information through mastering@andresmayo.com
