1) Artistas que llegan a nuestro estudio en estos días:
En las últimas semanas nos visitò una gran cantidad de músicos y productores, entre ellos: Sangre de Aquiles (Arg, producidos por Marcelo Suraniti), Mariano Salperín (Arg), Victoria Sur (Colombia, producida por Nicolás Ospina), Trem Imperial (su nuevo disco “Louca Viagem”, producido por Filipo Narcizo, Brasil), Sebastián Oliveira (Arg), Lito (Perú, producido por Tweety González), Clownies (Arg), Hongo (Arg), Claudio Sosa (su CD “Coplas Picantes”, producido por Mariano Fernández), Irdin (Arg), Carli Jiménez (el nuevo disco del hijo de “La Mona” Jiménez), Diego Kuropatwa (Uruguay), Cuarto Oscuro (Arg, producido por Marcelo Suraniti).

1) Artist who are mastering their projects with us:
In the last few weeks, we have been working with a great amount of musicians and producers such as Sangre de Aquiles (Arg, produced by Marcelo Suraniti), Mariano Salperín (Arg), Victoria Sur (Colombia, produced by Nicolás Ospina), Trem Imperial (for their new record “Louca Viagem”, produced by Filipo Narcizo, Brasil), Sebastián Oliveira (Arg), Lito (Perú, produced byTweety González), Clownies (Arg), Hongo (Arg), Claudio Sosa (for his record “Coplas Picantes”, produced by Mariano Fernández), Irdin (Arg), Carli Jiménez (the new record by “La Mona” Jiménez’s son), Diego Kuropatwa (Uruguay), Cuarto Oscuro (Arg, produced by Marcelo Suraniti).

2) Nueva página en Facebook:
Inauguramos nuestra nueva página FB exclusiva del estudio y para celebrarlo ofrecimos durante todo el mes un reporte gratuito de calidad de audio a las bandas interesadas, a razón de una mezcla por artista. La respuesta fue abrumadora en cantidad, calidad y variedad, con músicos de todo el país y también de Chile, Uruguay, México y Perú. Próximamente, la página estrenará nuevas secciones exclusivas sobre las actividades del estudio, incluyendo Twitcams con artistas, adelantos de audio, videos, etc.

2) New Facebook page:
We have launched the studio’s new Facebook page, and in order to celebrate we offered our followers a free audio quality report . The response was overwhelming in both quantity and quality as well as diversity, receiving music from all over the country and also from Chile, Uruguay, Mexico and Peru. In the near future, we will be premiering some new exclusive features regarding the activities in the studio, such as Twitcams with artists, audio previews, videos, etc.

3) Actividades en AES (Audio Engineering Society):
- Entre el 6 y el 8 de Marzo 2015 se realizará la 57th AES Conference sobre “Audio para Cine, TV e Internet” en la ciudad de Los Angeles, California. Es un evento especializado que contará con la disertación de expertos en distintos temas relacionados, entre ellos el Presidente y CEO de Avid, Mr. Louis Hernández Jr.
- Por primera vez, la AES participará oficialmente de SXSW (South By SouthWest), el gigantesco evento que nuclea a la industria de la música, el cine y la tecnología en Austin, Texas. Andrés Mayo fue invitado a dictar un seminario sobre Mastering y a moderar un panel sobre producción e ingeniería de grabación, que incluye a algunos de los más reconocidos nombres de América Latina: Visitante (Calle 13), Tweety González, Rafa Arcaute, Stefano Vieni y Hugo Manzi. Por último, AES estará presente en el panel “Demystifying Mastering”, moderado por Gavin Lurssen y  compartido con Michael Romanowski y Andrew Mendelson.

3) Activities at AES (Audio Engineering Society):
- The 57th Conference on “The Future of Audio Entertainment Technology” will be held in Los Angeles, California on March 6th through 8th. Several experts will be participating in this event and presenting on a wide range of subjects. Keynote speech wiill be given by Avid’s President and CEO Mr. Louis Hernández Jr.
- AES has been officially invited to SXSW (South by SouthWest) -huge annual event that reunites the music, film and interactive industry in Austin, Texas - for the first time. Andres Mayo has been invited to give a seminar on mastering and to moderate a panel on production and recording engineering, which will include some of the most renowned names in Latin America: Visitante (Calle 13). Tweety González, Rafa Arcaute, Stefano Vieni and Hugo Manzi. Lastly, Mayo will also be present in the “Demystifying Mastering” panel, moderated by Gavin Lurssen and shared with Michael Romanowski and Andrew Mendelson.

4) Proyecto audiovisual documental:
Ya está en fase de producción nuestro documental sobre la Canción del Río de la Plata, conducido por el músico Pablo Dacal y dirigido por Julián Chalde. Iniciado en el año 2012 a partir de una idea original de Andrés Mayo (productor del proyecto), el documental busca mostrar la existencia de un género musical muy rico y cada vez más visitado: la canción rioplatense. El film cuenta con la participación de una gran cantidad de músicos de la escena actual de Buenos Aires y de Montevideo. Su finalización está prevista para fines de 2015.

4) Audiovisual documentary Project:
Our documentary on the songs of “Río de la Plata”, led by musician Pablo Dacal and directed by Julián Chalde is already in production. Conceived in 2012 by Andres Mayo (general producer), this documentary will seek to show the existence of a very rich and increasingly popular music genre: the “rioplatense” song. The film will feature a great amount of musicians from the Buenos Aires and Montevideo modern scene. The project is expected to wrap up on late 2015.
