1) Premios Gardel 2018

Nuestro documental “CHARCO, Canciones del Río de la Plata” fue merecedor del premio Gardel 2018 a la Mejor Banda de Sonido para Cine y TV, un premio que nos enorgullece y agradecemos sinceramente.

1) 2018 Gardel Awards

Our documentary "CHARCO, Canciones del Río de la Plata" won at the 2018 Gardel Awards for Best Soundtrack for Film and TV. We are sincerely thankful and proud of this award.

2) Pre estreno oficial de CHARCO en el auditorio de la cancillería

Este Jueves 19 de Julio a las 17 hs, CHARCO tendrá su Avant-Première en el auditorio de la Cancillería Argentina, en una proyección organizada por la Embajada del Uruguay, con la colaboración del Ministerio de Cultura, el INCAA y la propia Cancillería. El evento incluye la presentación en vivo de la reconocidísima artista uruguaya Ana Prada.

2) Avant-Première of CHARCO in the chancellery auditorium

This Thursday July 19 at 5 pm, CHARCO will have its Avant-Première in the auditorium of the Argentine Chancellery, during a screening organized by the Embassy of Uruguay, with the collaboration of the Ministry of Culture, INCAA and the Chancellery itself. The event includes the live presentation of the highly renowned Uruguayan artist Ana Prada.

4) Seminarios de Mastering y Supervisión de mezcla

Este Sábado 21 de Julio, de 10 a 19 hs, Andrés Mayo ofrecerá un seminario exclusivo sobre Mix Coaching en nuestro estudio de Buenos Aires, Argentina.  En el workshop se trabajará en detalle todo el proceso de mastering, incluyendo cómo preparar la mezcla para sacar el máximo provecho de la masterización, qué errores pueden corregirse en el mastering y cuáles no, técnicas avanzadas de masterización y también cómo llegar al mejor resultado final con los recursos disponibles. Además el lunes 30 de Julio, desde las 15 hs, Andrés Mayo dictará una Master Class “ Cómo lograr la mezcla ideal para aprovechar al máximo el mastering” en la ORT de la ciudad de Montevideo, Uruguay.

4) Mastering and mix coaching seminars

This Saturday, July 21st, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Andrés Mayo will offer an exclusive seminar on Mix Coaching in our studio in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In the workshop we will work in detail the whole mastering process, including how to prepare the mix to get the most out of the mastering, what mistakes can be corrected in the mastering and which ones can’t, advanced mastering techniques and also how to get the best final result with the available resources. In addition, on Monday, July 30th, at 3:00 pm, Andrés Mayo will dictate the Master Class   "How to achieve the ideal mix to make the most of mastering" at the ORT Instute in Montevideo city, Uruguay.

5) Audio para Realidad Virtual

Andrés Mayo coordinará un workshop de enseñanza práctica de producción de audio en 360 grados, junto con especialistas de Facebook 360. Este workshop tendrá lugar los días 19 y 20 de Octubre, en el marco de la AES 145th Convention, a realizarse en el Javits Center de Nueva York.

Por otro lado, hay tratativas avanzadas para la creación de la primera diplomatura en producción de Realidad Virtual y Realidad Aumentada. En estos momentos se trabaja fuertemente en el desarrollo de un marco académico adecuado para esta especialidad, que resultaría pionera en América Latina.

5) Audio for Virtual Reality

Andrés Mayo will coordinate a practical 360-degree audio production teaching workshop, together with Facebook 360 specialists. This workshop will take place on October 19 and 20, within the framework of the AES 145th Convention, to be held at the Javits Center from New York.

On the other hand, there are advanced negotiations for the creation of the first diploma in the production of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. At present, we are working hard to develop an adequate academic framework for this specialty, which would be pioneer in Latin America.
