1) Exitosa segunda edición del Seminario "25 años y 2000 discos" :

Con la presencia de profesionales de Perú, Chile y Argentina se realizó la segunda edición del seminario intensivo en nuestro estudio. Del 26 al 30 de Junio, de 9 a 19 horas, trabajamos con un grupo muy reducido de asistentes en la teoría y práctica de mezcla y mastering Stereo y Surround 5.1, mezcla en 360 grados para Realidad Virtual, post-producción de audio para cine y TV y mucho más.

1) Successful second edition of the “25 years & 2000 Records” seminar:

The intensive seminar´s second edition was held in our studio with the participation of professionals from Peru, Chile and Argentina. From June 26th through the 30th, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m, we worked with a small group of attendees and covered subjects like mixing, mastering (both stereo and surround 5.1), 360 mix for VR, TV & film post-production and much more.

2) Charco, Canciones del Rio de la Plata:

Después del muy auspicioso preestreno (con 4 funciones totalmente agotadas) en el BAFICI 2017, nuestro documental CHARCO fue presentado con gran concurrencia en el Festival AM-PM de La Habana el domingo 18 de Junio.
 
Ya entramos en la etapa de producción del espectacular packaging que acompañará la edición física de CHARCO, en DVD + CD conteniendo también el soundtrack de 20 canciones, con muchos de los mejores intérpretes argentinos y uruguayos.

2) Charco, Songs from the Rio de la Plata:

After the wildly successful preview (with 4 sold out screenings) at the 2017 BAFICI film festival, our documentary CHARCO was showcased in front of a large audience at the AM-PM Festival in La Habana on Sunday, June 18th.

We have officially begun the production stages for our spectacular packaging, which will accompany the physical edition of CHARCO, including a DVD + CD combo with the 20 song soundtrack which features some of the best argentinian and uruguayan artists.

3) Producción, post-producción, mezcla y mastering:

Produjimos junto a Willy Suchar, Néstor Díaz y Mariano Fernández el disco Girasoles de Rubén Goldín, recientemente postulado a los Grammy Latinos.

Mezclamos recientemente los discos de Jean Pascal Monzies (Francia/USA) y de Dani Umpi (Uruguay).

Se terminó la etapa de mezcla en 5.1 de la música de Artax, film chileno con la presencia de Gonzalo Valenzuela, Celeste Cid y Mercedes Morán, entre otros. También realizamos el doblaje de las voces de los tres actores principales y finalizamos las mezclas 5.1 de los capítulos de “Patagonia Dreaming”, por el canal de TV The Olympic Channel.

Por último, estos son algunos de los artistas con los que masterizamos recientemente: Pedro Aznar (mastering de su discografía completa consistente en 23 discos, para el lanzamiento del Box Set “35 Años”, realizado junto al Ing. Felipe Alvarez de Toledo), Marco Sanguinetti (Arg), Hernán Jacinto + Fabio Cadore (Arg, producido por Tweety González), Shuca Magica (Perú), Pixel (México), Luis Pescetti (Arg), Emily Arrow (USA), Cata Raybaud (Arg),  Manuel García (Chile), Pepe Alva (Perú) y la banda sonora del documental Jane & Payne, producida por Daniel Tarrab (Arg).

3) Production, post-production, mix and mastering:

Together with Willy Suchar, Néstor Díaz and Mariano Fernández, we produced Rubén Goldín’s new record Girasoles, recently submitted for the Latin Grammys.

We have recently mixed the records of Jean Pascal Monzies (Francia/USA) and Dani Umpi (Uruguay).

The 5.1 mixing stage of the chilean film ´´Artax´´, was finished, with the presence of Gonzalo Valenzuela, Celeste Cid and Mercedes Morán, amongst others. We also performed the voice dubbing with the three main actors and completed the 5.1 mixes for the ´´Patagonia Dreaming´´ by The Olympic Channel.

Finally, here are some of the artists who recently mastered their records with us: Pedro Aznar (mastering of his entire discography, with 23 records, for the launch of the “35 Años” Box Set, made together with the engineer Felipe Alvarez de Toledo), Marco Sanguinetti (Arg), Hernán Jacinto + Fabio Cadore (Arg, produced by Tweety González), Shuca Magica (Perú), Pixel (México), Luis Pescetti (Arg), Emily Arrow (USA), Cata Raybaud (Arg),  Manuel García (Chile), Pepe Alva (Perú) and the soundtrack for the Jane & Payne documentary produced by Daniel Tarrab (Arg).

4) Realidad Virtual:

Después de haber coordinado el panel de Audio para Realidad Virtual en NAMM 2017 (que contó con la presencia de renombrados especialistas de Facebook360 y Dolby), Andrés Mayo ha establecido un partnership con VRTIFY, la empresa más importante de desarrollo VR en América Latina, para la producción de espectáculos en 360 grados para toda la región.

En simultáneo, junto con el Ing. Martín Muscatello, se está dictando un curso de capacitación a todos los operadores de audio de Turner Argentina, con vistas a la realización de transmisiones de fútbol en 360 grados.

Realizamos la mezcla 360 de más conciertos, entre ellos la presentación de Gustavo Santaolalla en el CCK de Buenos Aires, actualmente en proceso de finalización.

4) Virtual Reality:

After having coordinated the Audio for VR panel at NAMM 2017 (which featured renowned specialists from Facebook360 and Dolby), Andrés Mayo has established a partnership with VRTIFY, the biggest company on VR developments on Latin America, for the production of shows in 360 degrees across the entire region.

Together with Engineer Martín Muscatello, we are carrying out a personnel training for the audio operators at Turner Argentina, with the goal of achieving 360 degree soccer transmitions.

We are also currently concluding the 360 mix of more concerts, such as Gustavo Santaolalla’s performance at the CCK in Buenos Aires.

5) Audio Engineering Society:

Hubo intensa actividad en AES Latinoamérica durante este período, con el Encuentro Multidisciplinario de Audio 2017 en Argentina (Auditorio Caras & Caretas de Buenos Aires), la Conferencia Anual de AES México y la Conferencia Latinoamericana de AES 2017, que por primera vez se realizó en La Habana, Cuba, los días 17 y 18 de Junio, con la presencia de un público muy numeroso, excelentes disertantes de toda América Latina y el auspicio de 3 compañías de primer nivel internacional, como Avid, Riedel y Meyer Sound.

5) Audio Engineering Society:

The were a lot of activities at AES Latin America, with events such as the 2017 Multidisciplinary Meeting of Audio in Argentina (On the Caras & Caretas Auditory of Buenos Aires), the annual AES Mexico Conference and the 2017 Latin American AES Conference, which was held in La Habana, Cuba for the first time, on June 17th & 18th, with the presence of a numerous audience, outstanding speakers from Latin America and the sponsorship of three top level companies such as Avid, Riedel and Meyer Sound.
